H.T.K. Hawaii Inc. was founded in 1983 by Mike Hsia and Amy Kang. The company’s inital goal was to provide Hawaiian shave ice equipment and accessories to the Hawaii public. After several years of dedication to the local shave ice industry, H.T.K. was presented with the opportunity to purchase Hawaiian Snow, a established flavor company in California. Upon purchasing Hawaiian Snow, it was decided to bring Hawaiian Snow from California to Hawaii where the company can produce syrup and concentrates. In 1994, due to increased local and mainland demand, H.T.K. moved to its current two story warehouse/showroom in Kalihi. Changes in technology also brought forth changes in the way the company does business, so in 2004 www.hawaiiansnowflavors.com was set up so that our customers could readily access our companies products, services, and support. After having 4 straight years of successful online sales, we decided to expand and redesign our online site with the name www.shaveicesupplies.com to further serve our customers better. In a effort to consolidate the Hawaiian shave ice industry, in April of 2008 H.T.K. Hawaii purchased Pure Gold Ice Company, a respected supplier of block ice to successful shave ice establishments around the island. Times change and business change, but us here at H.T.K. Hawaii still stands strong to our goal, which is let people know what Hawaiian shave ice is all about!

Being located in Hawaii,  the shave ice capital of the world, the staff at H.T.K. Hawaii are trained to assist you with whichever question you may have regarding Hawaiian shave ice. Unlike other retailers that rely on manufacture warranties, all of our shave ice machines are serviced in-house and not sent abroad. This is to help our customers minimize down time as much as possible and assist our customers with on site technical questions. H.T.K. Hawaii’s Hawaiian Snow brand of flavors are all made locally in Hawaii as well.
